Agreed! IMO, you don't even need HD on a 32" screen. The latest upscaling such as that found in the BeoSystem 3 means there is no need for HD until you get to around 40" IMO. 50"+ and you may want 1080p, but it's still not needed all that much IMO!

I'm kinda a neutral as well. I have Macs, and always try and use them instead of PCs. I also have a Dell and school is kitted out with ~350 PCs, so there's no escaping PCs for me. However, as Lee says, PCs do their job well, but given the choice Macs are much better IMO. As Lee says, you can't really know what it's like until you've owned one...

I disagree about the 7.4. I actually prefer the 7-40 and the 7-32 with the 7.4 rather than any other 7 speaker, it looks more like it's 'floating', just neater and overall it's got more 'wow' IMO. It's possible that the files you're talking about were encoded using the ffmpegx encoder, which has a tendency of not putting an index in the audio (audio can still play fine like this, but it causes issues with players not knowing where the start and end of the audio is). Is it a CD-RW? A lot of players have issues with CD-RWs, such as my CD7000. If not, try burning it at a lower speed, or try a different brand of CD-R.

If you're going into the AUX input on the back of the BeoMaster, then it will need to be in 'option 2' (so it responds to both audio AND video commands, the AUX input is activated with the TV button).
