to refoam, I use plastic film, 0.1 and 0.3 Mm. thick, I cut strips 10x70 mm and put in the strips at 0, 120 and 240 degrees, allways the same at all 3 points, I fill up with the strips until I get a tight fit where the cone still can move in and out, like if you put in a 0.1 at one of the 3 points, the cone wont move freely, but taking the strip out

There is one point that I dont like with my Onkyo. The preouts are, 270 mV/470 Ohms, this means that I cant drive my BLs to full volume, its good enough for my dayly use but I cant get the volume up to where the windows starts vibrating, Wtih my Beosound 3000 they go way higher to the limit where the protection circuit in the BL 8000 kick in (lowers

I have an Onkyo, connected to BL 8000 front, BL 4000 center, and 2 non coms passive as surround, works like a charm, I used the automatic calibration on the Onkyo, but as you use BL 5s you can set it yourself. BLs are connected to the preouts and the passives to the amped.

Hi Rudy, I run firefox myself and no problems. Lately we had some 3702s with strongly bend spiders, that may be your problem, if the foam is all gone and the cones free from the basket there should be no scraping, are the dustcaps in place ? if not you may have dirt in the voice coils. Here a some pics of my 3702s

If only the foam surrounds are gone you should be able to save them and while open change caps in the filters.
