For me, one of the major weaknesses of the BeoPlayer app for Idevices is that , as for all other B&O-based softwares, it doesn't show any information about track, artist and album names, unlike the free BMLink with BeoPort or even the almost-free Linkplayer.. So I don't think I will purchase the new app, even if it has a wide choice of stations

I am exactly in the opposite position, I hate the 6000/1 sound, which I found really clinical and cold , especially at high volumes and in showrooms. Strange thing however, a friend of mine recently bought a pair of Lab 6000, and in his living room, they sounded awesome. So it may also be a matter of room size & placement, but overall, and in theory

I recently came accross a French review of the BeoSound 8, and the conclusion was that it wasn't worth the money, simply because the sound was good only at low to medium levels, and that things got really bad & with a muffled sound at loud volumes. I must say I find this typical of most BeoLabs, especially the 6000s or 1s, so I'm not surprised

I used white spirit to remove the original tape, both on the plastic and glass parts, with no scratch on the glass part; I then re-glued the glass panel with a thin double-sided transparent adhesive tape. The previous "scratches" (causing transparency) on the glass panel black coating were covered with black permanent marker applied on the

Hi, you can get new cables from any B&O shop, there is a proprietary connector on the Serenata, so no other Samsung/cellphone shop should have it. The reference number is Samsung datalink cable/ model PC B300BBE

After 20 years with a BeoVision in my house, I sold my BV7-32 in september last year and bought a Loewe Individual 52' LCD. Reason being that the 52' Loewe cost me less than a BV10-40, came with a 3-year warranty, and with a built-in DVB-T HD, HDR, PCM playback on the SPDIF input, USB + network connection to play all my video files & connect

Hi, I once used a BeoCom 4 for my company, and had to give up after one month, swapping it for a Jacob Jensen T80 phone that I had at home ; actually, the BeoCom 4 became ideal for home, while the Jensen one became perfect for office use! I think the only viable option for office use would be the BeoCom 6000 , not everybody can use BC4 or BC2. The new

The USB connection will use the BeoSound 8 DSP, which, in theory, is superior to a built-in computer's sound card. After all, it's B&O..
