• Re: Puc Codes

If you havn't already, then try the other Samsung BluRay Puc codes. I know Samsung is pretty good about not changing the codes too often. My BD-1500 works fine with the older codes. In the US there is a Puc Code entitled simply Samsung BluRay due to this fact. Sony on the other hand is a completely different story. I'd give the BD-P1200 a shot

  • Re: HD audio

Are you guys politely telling me I'm an idiot for thinking that using the analog out instead of the optical would magically bypass the known apple TV 16bit/44.1 downconversion that occurs (with Optical) and magically transfer golden sound waves like musical pixies farting stardust into my BS3? I know some will be disappointed that there isn't more on the list but quite frankly I find it encouraging that so much is.

I had completely forgotten about the technology that was faster than digital and easy enough for

Still expensive I know considering you need to add a lens, (probably would get a summarit 35 or 50mm as a first

  • Re: What is your favorite watch?

There is definitely something kind of cool about the tough as nails tactical watches from Kobold. One of their features requested from SWAT teams and Special Op's was a bracelet that wouldn't open when scuffling hand to hand with bad guys. That's definitely the watch I want when getting into fights at the local... Or rather .. um... wrestling
Ha! Like the bit at the bottom! "Since 2006 the U.S Navy has tried to give the Sea Shadow away but as of February 2009 nobody has taken the offer. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] "
Yeah that is sad. Seems that I read that Navy had a list of stipulations a mile long on the 'give away' that required the owner to
