• Re: What iCloud might mean for the BeoSound 5
similarly, if you buy an new tune on iDevice-2 there will be an automatic download to iDevice-1.
Of course you are correct! I have already used this feature... the song will indeed download to the mobile device. That makes what I was trying to articulate not very clear! The difference is that there is no interaction

As suggested... things are not clear yet -but I am not certain it will work that way. I, of course, could be wrong as usual! As I understand: the Music Match service is rather descriptive. It will match YOUR content on YOUR library with content from the iTunes master catalog and simply allow access to the catalog for downstreaming. I do not believe

  • Re: The one that got away..

As mentioned -rather busy top! I do like it though! Rather than BL4000 -I would like to see it next to some BL9. It looks like it may have been a spin-off of their design study (or viceversa).
I'm guessing it's the palisander one! I'm very much a rosewood man I'm afraid.
Palisander = Rosewood. I would grab any 4000 available -you can always change the trim out in about 5 minutes. This sounds like a rather good deal! In fact, if you don't want it...
The package are clutch washer sets from Martin. One of my favorite vintage B&O sets.
It would be nice to see a separate thread for these pieces being restored -especially regarding the clutch mechs.

    OH RICH!!!
Don't know when it happened , but after some switching of this, and rearranging of that, I have isolated a problem to the BM 4000
It doesn't sound like it was a "sudden" difference... but it happened after rearranging? I assume you removed all the extra sources and just tried the tuner

  • Re: Beomaster 8000 problem

I don't recall exactly -it was simply some spare wire I had on hand. It was solid core copper in the ~22ga-24ga range, not too dissimilar to a CAT5 single strand. It worked, but I will defer to the resident electrical experts as to what should be used officially! P.S. Here's to hoping the experts don't make me go rip it all apart!
as I can use different tonearms with it.
I meant to ask before... What is the fundamental difference between the 9" and 12" arms? I assume that they must impart some sort of tonality difference? Assuming this -is there some sort of guideline that suggests which length is more suited to a particular
