Welcomed to Beoworld! The current system is BS 9000 with BL 8000. The three pieces together look fantastic. The BS 9000 on the floor stand and BL 8000 make a very small footprint. The sound is not the best. As mentioned, if you are into bass, the BL8000 will not deliver thunderous bass. Consider the BL 9 and horizontally mounted BS 9000 in between.

Dear All: The BS 9000 is a great piece. I do not think the 10 would have allowed for the placement flexibility. It would be nice it later had the ability to SACD. Imagine SACD, gorgeous package, and digital out to say BL5. Dario

A better sound system, something to complement the sound quality of BL5 & BL 9. A system with player capable of DVD, SACD, CD, ...but no HD stuff. It is too soon to guest how all of that is going to play out. ruben
