Speaking as a dealer ( so you know there may be a touch of bias/vested interest here ! ) I would add a couple of points about some issues raised above. WoW factor : This will always, to a large degree, be a personal thing. During a typical week, I will see customers who can't believe just what can be done via Beo4 and Beomedia - Web access, photo's

Ok- Pretty much arranged Thursday 31st - further details to follow. Just spoken to Dave, and we have confirmed the broad details, which are as outlined above. As I expect this to be a popular evening , we will have to look at an admission by ticket/prior confirmation system, as there will be a limit to numbers we can accomodate and retain a viable format

There will also be a demonstration run through of the ALT products ( Blab 3, 9 and 5, ),and a Q&A session. Probably, Just about to speak to the man himself, and confirm

  • Re: A8 Headphones

Fake A8's have a silver end cap on the "arm" - at least all the ones I've seen so far. Other diffferences ( apart from crappy sound !! ) are the writing is not printed cleanly, the wires are lower spec, the leather pouch is plastic, and there is noticeably low grade packaging. As per the earlier post, with any online BeoBargain, if

  • Re: BEOSOUND 6

beocool: I believe the Beosound 6 is based on the same hardware as the Samsung mentioned here. Difference is that B&O is supposed to have developed an algorithm that enhances the sound. Samsung uses its own algorithm. I am not completely sure, so can anyone confirm or correct? This is correct - It has been tweaked by B&O to improve the standard

  • Re: BANG & OLUFSEN magazine coming soon!

jandyt: Gosh, a lot of you seem to be getting this through the mail. Have you noticed that, Dave at King Street? Andy T. Andy - these are sent by B&O UK from their own database - aprox 23,000 were sent out directly, with many more invitaitions to "collect your copy" from your "own" dealer ( last store you purchased from is the

  • Re: Hide holes in the wall

Hi, The picture below is actually a cooker outlet plate, available from any electrical spares supplier. It is, in effect, a blanking plale with a downwards facing hole that allows cables to exit neatly - ideally into a cable cover of some type - the flexible rubber or expanding sock types work well. They will exit down and "sweep" nealty accross

  • Re: Beocord V8000

LSoeager: The V8000 is a new addition - I exchanged it for a V6000, which was damaged - although it gave no trouble. I'll try to re-tune the TV - although I doubt if it'll work, frankly. There seems to be nothing wrong with the tuning when the TV is connected to the VCR, so long as the VCR is on standby. Also, the trouble is only with a few
