Yeah he said that the end of production of BV8 26" has been confirmed. My BV8 26" is on the black floor stand, however I quite like the aluminium floor stand which should go with the white BV8. Not so keen on the wall bracket, but it does look good on easel.

I personally like the BV8 design. As already mentioned, it has an understated design which works well with its positioning in my home. I don't want my TVs to be the focus point of any room in the house. My dealer has told me BV8 26" has been discontinued.

My Serene is 2 years old now and I haven't had any problems with it. No scratches on the inside, but a mark on one of the outside edges after it being dropped a couple of times. I would like an iPhone for all its functions, but the design is utterly boring. I'm still likely to get an iPhone however and sure I will miss my Serene.

Hi Kim, unfortunately 2GB is the largest SD card you can use, as the BeoSound 2 cannot use the high capacity cards. I have 3 2GB SD cards with a particular genre of music on each card, so this does mean I have 6GB of music. Yes I have to change card sometimes, but it's quick and easy! I keep the other 2 SD cards which aren't inside the BeoSound

Hi foamy, I was in a similar position to you a few years ago when the BeoLab 3 was first launched. I decided to opt for an earlier model of the BeoSound 3200 and BeoLab 3. Take a look at the link: http://forum.beoworld.org/photos/home_set-ups/picture49310.aspx

I have seen a photo of BL2500 either side of a BV8 used as a display for a computer. They looked really good as both the speakers and TV lean back at the same angle. I agree the sound of BL4000 is better than BL2500, but both are great value for what they deliver.

I'm not desperate to go digital for now, so I will wait and see what the BeoSound 5 is like before I make too much of a comment. I would still like to know the full capabilities of the system and for instance if it will be better than my Apple TV. I will go in store next month to check it out.
