Hi Mark, It is type 4021 if you want to check with the people who know ... many of the philips and panasonic players. I have one for sale with a panasonic player which you could have for £90 for both the controller and the player ... already configured. Neil

Should be compatible with all TVs from early 90s onwards. Unused in original box. Postage at cost or collection from Farnham, Surrey, UK £50. Neil

The EEPROMs are available ... as to whether you can extract one from your dealer ... is another story.

Its likely to be an analogue sat receiver ... not sure if there are any remaining analogue broadcasts ... but you might be lucky. Neil

Just looking at one of my 7000s here ... it would seem that it is from 2001, so a relatively late one ... the SW version is 4.7 ... I dont recall seeing a version as high as this before, but one thing it does offer is the ability to have DVD on SCART 1 or 2 ... again, something i have not seen before. Is anyone else using a version newer? Does it offer

What is about flat screen tvs? Why do people suddenly believe that once they have one the correct place to put a tv is high up on the wall? Mark my words, before this decade is out, we will have a generation of people with stiff necks! Neil

Just got my AV5 (in the spare bedroom) connected up and can now download the BBC archives and watch with good picture quality and awesome sound :) Better than the crummy laptop that i have been using. Neil
