i've got a sony hdr860 connected to my avant via scart rgb, it's really rather good i'm sure it would be even better via it's hdmi to the bv7 plus it will upscale dvd's via hdmi and play multi region too the recordings on mine are excellent , just make sure you get as big an hd as possible as no doubt it will soon start to get filled

their products only really require subtle tweaking imo , the inclusion of dvb-t as standard on ALL their tv's would be a start it's not so much lowering the prices as raising the level bno have to be known once more as THE best av maker available on the high street , they were once , i'm sure they can capture that essence again

i'd look at standalone alternatives , i've had 3 ps3's in the last 18 months - due to unreliability and overheating issues , so so much for it being a solid reliable product the thing is also rather noisy ( the fan will probably annoy you in quiet passages in a film ) for blu ray playback and the picture quality isn't as clean as a good

loewe remind me of microsoft , they just copy a superior original - badly and their remote is utterly awful in every way , no match for the beo4 as simon said i'm sure bno will get their act together soon then we'll see who's the top dog !
