... when you have a spare LC1 just for the Christmas Tree.
I was going to put one LC1 for the Christmas Tree lights but it wasn't working! I have another LC1 which I use for my bed-side lamp.

This sounds very similar to my experience with my Beocord 2000. I got it from eBay as non-working. After I replaced the belts (thanks Martin) it worked for a awhile, then the motor went dead. After Martin's suggestion I replaced a motor driver resistor on the mainboard and it worked again, but the speed was much higher than normal. I could adjust

You can connect iPod or cd-player to the tape input. BM3000 has both RCA and DIN connectors and actually you can connect two devices at the same time, fe. iPod with RCA- and CD-player with DIN-connection. But it might cause lower volume levels if both are connected at the same time, but you can have an iPod cable (RCA->3,5mm plug) connected to the

As having both U70 and Form 1 headphones I can comment on the first two: U70: -oldest of the three -big, bulky and heavy. (But when adjusted with patience they fit well) -original black leather finnish of the earpads has worn off by now, not necessary to replace -long cable with 6,3mm plug -needs a lot of power to drive, (fe. iPod needs volume to be

You're welcome! If the replacement remote is for B&O it should have all the required buttons. It will be far from the Beolink 1000 in terms of quality, though! By pressing SOUND you can access the treble, bass and balance adjustments, too. Color and other settings are found under PICTURE, and when you are happy with the settings, STORE-PICTURE

Welcome to Beoworld! You mean you don't have a B&O remote for it? (Beolink 1000 or newer). The syntax for storing the sound settings is: set volume to preferred level and then press STORE - SOUND - STORE. Don't know about other remotes, though. The user manual is available on the site for bronze or golden members.
when the jack is held in only half way, both channels work ok (like a bad connection).
In that case you probably have the right-channel fed to both headphone channels (in mono). The left-channel is on the tip of the plug. Perhaps you could try to see with a lamp if there is something inside the socket? (Preventing

Is the point in the reviving process to loosen the dirt inside the tube/heater or something like that? The Tv was transported here in car so it must have some shaking during the way if that helps any! Perhaps not. Anyway if the tube gives up I might try this method. And as the BV was so cheap I thought it would work as the grand finale of tube televisions

Thanks for the info. No problems so far, but better to be suspicious. I can say that I bought a Beo4 and get the tv as an extra! I never heard the actual reason for the set being sent to service in the first place, the serviceman had said that the set works now Ok but can't say how long. Does you 'revive' mean the process where you make

I will love it as long as it works! At the moment it's so perfect that I can hardly believe it COULD fail at all! I have already gone to the service menu. I just wanted to check the service timers, better not to touch other things there! I already tried with the movie mode on and off, the smoothing fits to some material but with some sources it
