Disconnect BM1 from Masterlink, connect a keyboard and try to make the settings via keyboard. Then reconnect it to ML. I don`t know, whether this will work. Just an idea. Maybe worth a try....(?) Stefan

Seems there is still something wrong with your Beo6 programming: "To resume after pause – double-click on PLAY (Why not just single-click like DVD?)" Should be just the PLAY button. Double-click GO (PLAY) was used with the old Beo4. It has no center (SELECT) button, just a GO button, so GO is SELECT and GO - GO is PLAY. "Live TV
I think with the Olive it seems easier to get the music onto the hard drive. It seems to be a matter of loading the disc and hitting copy and it's done.
That`s exactly what I`m doing when I transfer music to my BS5 - just insert a CD and start COPY. But I have the choice between five CD drives for it, because

Hi and welcome to Beoworld. You don`t have to pair your Beo4 to the Ouverture. Maybe the option setting is not correct. Are your MX and Ouverture linked via Masterlink (and converter)? If not press LIST and STANDBY buttons at the same time. ADD? should be displayed. Scroll to OPTIONS - GO...A.OPT - 1 - GO. If masterlinked and Beolabs are connected to

"The BV7 was set up to obey the TV command, not the DTV. This happened during installation when I asked the analog TV tuner to be disabled. But a different person programmed the Beo6. As a result, BV7 used TV, not DTV and Beo6 used DTV, not TV. Now they both agree upon 'TV', which makes sense since there is no analog TV in Norway anymore

Try to assign your BM1 as V.AUX to the BV7. This command can be detected by your Xtra speaker kits (L.OPT 2) and your MX. When you activate V.AUX from a linkroom the BM1 should start up, step down to N.MUSIC (or N.RADIO) and press GO. Now you should be able to control your BM1 and you have sound in the linkroom. You can`t have a BS3000 and a BC9500

I never heard or saw a snooze button on a Beo5/6 before - I have both. But what this button does is working since years with a Beo4 (or 5/6) and a Lintronic box. There is a special feature called sleeptimer. Just press a number ( 1 for 10 min. - 9 for 90 min.)and GO in CLOCK mode . After that time the box will automatically shut down your audio/video
-
===> Why don`t you use the TV mode, as it is already disabled and can be used for external devices? Because TV mode only contains the typical analog TV commands, like Sound, AV..., Text, Clock, etc. The DTV commands are missing, like EPG, selecting channel by logo, and so on. And like DTV, TV can't resume from a pause. But if somehow it could

The funny thing is my DB 800SE is working great with my Lintronic box. I just taped the IR transmitter to the front of my DB, imported the Dreambox codes from Lintronics database and configured a mapping. No experimenting with IR location, no white paper, no resistor..... Maybe I should leave it as it is...? "> Stefan
