I am experiencing no problems posting from a computer, iPhone, and iPad.
It's probably a routing issue for *some* users. Mostly it works, but often you get that unavailable message.
-
I really hope the issue will be fixed very soon but until that, I will post no more in the forum.
Bad news, but I do agree it's slightly ironic we're on one hand having a deabte about paid-for membership and expensive prizes, but on other hand have core posting issues which should have been resolved.
I seem to recall the 9 had one serious problem
And it only has a mono centre speaker and, frankly, is incredibly large/heavy. I wanted a BV9, but a few of these surface-level reasons made it impractical. The BV9 is already large, I'd have to use speakers too, and I simply do not have the space. BV10-46 is

The way I see this is that most of us are in the privileged position where we can generally afford B&O products
I think you'll find you are incorrect. Some might be in that privileged position but most are mid earners...
Hey, I'm a damned mid-earner! But I'm
"BV7-55 BluRay disney play Disney"!
Oh I miss the dry humour from my old NE region :)
Both discs play on my Sony BluRay player so it can only be the BeoVision.
I'd stick with this player - fewer issues, support for decoding DTS HD etc. Anyway, as the posters say above, it's a sw issue which was updated recently. If you connect your BV7's ethernet port to a wired internet connection,
I had asked for white (The unit is white) but my B&O shop got me the violet instead as B&O has an issue with the very first white frets during production.
Problem with the white frets, for me, is that they look "dirty" as you can easily see the grey plastic mesh underneath. Even the yellow ones
According to my local B&O store (Ruislip) these things are flying out of the door! (And mine was the first one they ever had delivered!) I think they are a great product.
Nice photos Mark. I hope we can see more in-situ photos like this in future, rather than unboxing photos.
Has anyone tried connecting an ipad to a BV7-40 MKII? Looking on amazon most of the cables only support video rather than replicating the ipad screen.
Daniel is 100% correct. Madness to somehow spend time and effort trying to figure how to connect an iPad to a TV. The quickest option is to get an Apple TV, connect
