  • Re: Thanks to STB Brackets..

Gavin is, of course, one of the good guys. STB is a true act of genius, or perhaps the act of a true genius .... and yet....all that thought and ingenuity.... such innovation....such style......from a City fan??? Having had the honour of Gavins company in places as diverse as Berlin, Struer, Reading and several other cities around Europe, I could tell

  • Re: SONOS multi-room audio

[quote user="mbee"] I'm planning to create a Sonos+B&O setup on a friend's father home. The setup will consist on Beolabs on "link rooms" connected to (hidden) ZP90 (I've seen on the Sonos forum that people connectiong Sonos to B&O never complain, on contrary to people connecting Airport Express to B&O). • Re: DAB+

slightly off topic... Peter wrote " It seems BBC6 may get a reprieve as the listening figures have doubled." Quite right too - Radio 3, Radio 4 and 6 music are exactly what public service broadcasting is all about - never mind eastenders, Jonathan Ross and that bright orange antique-fiddling idiot..... The BBC is superb value when you consider

  • Re: BC 1 selling stats

Also, for the BC1 & BV1 range, sales sufferred towards the end of its life as it was 4:3, not 16:9 At the time, I worked in a retail group that had 8 B&O shops and 5 "multibrand" stores. Without doubt, as the widescreen ratio gained a foothold, the idea of a £2 - 3000 square TV got harder and harder to sell - even given the superb

  • Re: Beonet

I would personally use the guys over at King Street - they have an in-house guy who is superb, but also a couple of subs who cover the M62 /M6 corridor and are also highly regarded. I know that they will also do cable/install only work if you already have your own stuff, or are using re-sellers - unlike some dealers who seem to clam up unless your also

  • Re: Should I just throw this out ??

Thanks Peter, I think it is the PSU - the screen was on one minute, off the next, and failed whilst in use with no warning signs, noise or flickering - as if it was unplugged.......except it wasn't. If it doesn't sell, I may go to maplins and see if a new psu is a fix. All the best, David

  • Re: Beo4 in gold?

The gold finish top plate is available as a spare part at a reasonable price if you have a newish beo4 (or are happy with the button/softwarevariant you own) may be better than changing the whole unit.
