Hello! I recently purchased (and am awaiting delivery of) a rosewood finished Beolit 1000 (restored to like-new) and luckily a Beopower 1000 as well! The ebay seller is jepsen57, a radio guy in Denmark that has worked with Frede of Classic Audio. This persons work is analagous to Frede's on the Beolab 5000 systems, in case any are interested in

Paypal is almost risk-free for buyers but full of risk for sellers. Paypal started putting an up-to 21 day hold on ebay items. So, unless they leave pos feedback you are stuck waiting a LONG time getting your money, at which time anything could happen.

Thanks for the information Leslie! I actually have one myself. The watch band has never been cut!

FYI there are a number off button cell batteries with the same voltage/size that go by different numbers. For example, I just replaced (the clock one) that had a GP377 with an SR626. Here's an ebay link with the batteries I bought, which are compatible with a number of other battery numbers: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item

Spotted this odd turntable on ebay. Anyone know what it is about? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110523933397&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123

Looks like a great deal to me!

I'd be curious about this too. The new BL 11 just looks too anemic for me and seems more like a woofer than a subwoofer. Also, I don't care for the appearance that much of the BL11 but that's my personal taste.

Sorry put this in the wrong forum! Can someone please change this?

I'm selling a mint MMC1 cartridge in mint condition with round case and all accessories including mount adapter, brush, etc. Guaranteed to work. I know buying these can be a problem on ebay but here you go from a fellow beoworlder. EDIT: Decided to list on ebay, NO RESERVE AUCTION, HERE YOU GO: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item

You can use any active (amplified) B&O speakers with the BS1. I think a reasonable price would be in the 500-600 dollar range with the remote eye included. I have purchased two in that price range. These units are damaged very easily in shipping, and I have had to file a claim for the first one that I used.
