  • Beovision LS 5500 dying

The old Beovision LS5500 is playing up a little. The top a bottom frame has collasped in a bit and there are black lines jumping across the screen. Is this a timebase fault ? Are there any adjustments or shall I just send it to T.V. heaven. obviously i'm aware of all the associated hazards with EHT ete etc but I don't mind having a delve in

  • Beomaster 5000 and CD5500

Hi All, I recently bought a CD5500 of ebay that was advertised as in good working order. Obviously it only has draw open and play buttons on the front. If you put a cd in the track indicator comes on for about 5 seconds then goes out. It doesn't highlight any tracks and won't play cd's. I am assuming that it should play as a standalone.

The funny thing is it doesn't loose channel memories, so is that another battery ? Unfortunately I haven't got a manual for the T.V. but am I right in thinking it automatically

Graham neil, Thanks both for your advice, i'll pull the back off and have a look for the battery, i wasn't sure if it was a button type or soldered to the board. motor stand, that's a bummer, it has got a motor stand din socket on the back so wrongly thought it was supported. My question re the instructions was, is there any sort of function

  • Beomaster 3300

It was my intention to write a quick post about my beomaster 3300, another relic that has not been used for a while. Having just redecorated the conservatory i have decided to give it the retro look !!!. I recently accquired a Beocord 3300 , got the Beomaster out and low and behold it worked. The Beomaster had developed a fault whereby it started buzzing

  • MX4500

Hi all this is my first post. I bought an MX4500 quite a few years ago and it has been gathering dust for some time. The backup battery seems to have failed. Can someone please tell me if a replacement is sourceable and is it an easy fix. I also bought a motor stand off Ebay ( St5000) the bottom plate was for a smaller TV possibly a 21inch, however
