Hi My daughter needs a stereo in her room. I have thought of buying a Century, but looking through the used section the paper, I fell over a Beocenter 1. Both items are app. 10 years old. But what do you think will be best and durable for the future? Mogens

Hi Just got a retipped MMC4000 with rebuild shibata diamond at Axel´s. He says it should have a tracking force at 1,6 but my BG 4000 only goes to 1,5, as far I can see. Is a 1,5 Ok you think? Mogens

Hej Søren Is that the MMC4000 I can get retipped to be an equivalent to a MMC20CL or the MMC20S? Mogens

Hi Well I got a Beogram 4000 with a MMC4000 and it actualy works fine. The only thing is that the sound is lacking at little discant. I am therefore thinking of getting Alex to retip it. I also have a MMC20s lying around, and the question is wich one should go to Alex. An other question is what kind of retipping I should get, keep it as orignal as possible

Hi Thanks for the detailed describtion. I took a look at the service manual, but i am still puzzeled about how to remove the platter. Is it enough to take the woodtrim off and then it is possible to remove the platter?? Do i need tools? Mogens

Hi I got a beomaster 4400 a want to ad a beogram 4004 to it. It says that the BG 4004 has a 7 pin connection does that fit the BM4400? Brgds Mogens
