Hi Scotty - In fact, the B&O large cabinet #1218666 (http://www.bang-olufsen.com/cabinets) is designed to support a BV4-50 on table stand. My brother has his BV4-50 on one; mine holds LPs and a BeoGram. It's sturdy, strong, and really well-made. No complaints. Good luck -

Did you try SoundSmith in NY? Bumble

6270302 - DIN to 2x RCA. May need a ground isolator - PC input can be a bit noisier than PL... Best, Bumble

If you can skrimp, save, and afford the BV4, it's absolutely worth it. Failing that, you'll get predictably good results with any of the Panasonic commercial/industrial plasma panels, and the sizing/format will be good and correct. Have seen sizing and power control issues with Pioneers, Sharps, and LGs. No such matters reported with the Panas

Not likely. BVMX5000 was a specially-engineered US-only piece; the MX5500 would have been developed for the rest of the world with no concession for the US market. You may be able to use a separate set-top-box tuner and connect it to the MX for some functionality, but don't expect miracles... Good luck! bumble

Check with SoundSmith or another B&O service center; if you're in love with your very own BR7700, then the price is reasonable. A secondhand BR7700 might have the same or worse issues and incur deeper cost to bring back up to snuff...

Howdy - You're on to something. AppleTV on BSys3 will give you access to TV-stuff as well as streamed content and MP3s from your main Mac. Mac Mini with BeoPort would give you the N.RADIO package as a separate, linkable item. For one room, try the AppleTV first; if you need extra functionality, run with BeoPort/MacM. Very workable and solid solution

On US BeoTalk 1200s, I've seen units that seem to power up yet won't take calls or capture CallerID - victims of power spikes, surges, etc. Your unit may need a new PCB - cost in US for parts alone is ~US225 alone. Given that BT1200 has only the one board, your options may be limited... Good luck!

Best solution would be to purchase PowerLink thick in bulk from a B&O dealer then do the wire run yourself jack-jack. PL-thick tends to run more with the factory terminations but should otherwise be about $2.00/ft in bulk. Worth the lack of gray hair this way...

Sell the client a BS4000; connect the AirPort to AUX in and run it that way; else, take the BL2000 in on trade and find a better fit...
