I recently purchased a D-Link DNS-323. Although I only have 1 500g HD, will will support up 1T with RAID options. Connected to the network via ethernet. So far, it's pretty quiet and the Mac and PC can see and access the drive. Only problem was that when the power goes out, the unit re-assigns itself a new IP and them becomes invisible to the network

Thanks for the honest review. Helps me decide on which software to purchase eventually.

I have to agree with the last 2 posts, that the Beocom 6000 and 1 are not compatible. I was planning to add an extra handset to my Beocom 1 system, and was told by just getting the Beocom 6000 handset (only) will not work with the base or charger. There are lots of Beocom 6000s on ebay.

I am in a similar boat with my BL3500 - and will take it in for service at B&O, knowing it will negate my 'good, now not so good' buy. At least the unit will function worry

Over in North America, I ordered from this guy http://myworld.ebay.ca/lazerwave/ and the data cable seems to be ok.

Will Smith in "Hitch" uses a Beocom 1 and has a non B&O rotating tv screen.

My new Macbook Pro was just delivered, "assembled in China", but designed by Apple in Cupertino. Hard to say how it will fair with other models that were not assembled in China. I am a little stuck in my ways, I like my Audi from Germany (despite a new A4 manufacturing facility in China), my Omega from Switzerland, and my Armani from Italy. As long

From my limited reading, you can use an ipod cable, connect from your computer's sound card line out, and then to the AUX of the BS2300. I am not sure about the sound quality with this method. I have read also that buying a DAC can improve the sound quality and volume. Since I am new to the forum, I am sure other members can shed some more light
