I use a card reader and all you need to know is : 1. make sure you have album folders only , not artist then an album folder in that as the beosound only seems to deal with 1 layer of folders. 2. If you are adding or deleting from a card , after finishing delete the playlist file at the root of the card and the beosound automatically refreshes when

I like the look of the Beolab 5000 wall hanging speakers, are they any good or just pure eye candy?

Oh well looks an overture or a 3200 , hope my wife agrees!!

I am thinking about a Century or a Beosound 1 , would either of these fill my living room, it is 12 meters by 6.5 meters. I dont listen at loud levels. Does the Century have better Stereo seperation than the Beosound 1? What Watts do they have? Thanks

Cost me £40 on my last one, make sure they can do a good job though as the dealer i went to prised mine open with what must have been a knife and scored it around the centre plastic seal.

Around the same i expect , bought it yesterday - £55 - bargain! I bought one a few years ago and have missed it a lot since i sold it. I think i will get a beosound century / 2000 next.

I get around 5.5hrs - 6hrs before the beeps start then around another 1.5 hrs before dead , so around 7.5hrs, i listen to mp3s at 192 - 256 kbps on average.

The s2 may look like beosound 2 but it is about a third of the size , doesnt allow album skipping and looks cheap.
