  • BG 5000 playing very quietly

I'm looking for some advice before I open this up and start poking around in it. Everything seems to be funcitoning properly, but when playing a record, with the BM5000 at or near max volume, I can bearly hear the sound. I have tried different cartridges and different turntables to eliminate problems with the input or the cartridge itself - those

  • Re: Beogram CD 5500

I'm not seeing anything that says CDM... It is a type 5133. I've taken the cover off and looked inside as well - where would this number be? Also, while the cover was off, I watched it try to load a CD. I can see the CD try to spin - like it's stuck or something. I tried to turn it by hand, and it feels very tight, although I can turn it

  • Beogram CD 5500

I have a BG CD5500 that will not spin the disc. Is there a known fix for this, or would I have to dive into the circuits and boards inside? Every other function seems to be working fine, but when I opened it up to "see" what happens, the disc just sits there, and the MCP says "NO SOURCE". This is all I need to complete a 5500 system

  • Re: 3-pin plugs for MCL2A

Thanks a lot - I guess I didn't think of that. Sure enough they have them in stock, and thanks to BeoWorld, I had the part number for them.

Hi, does anyone know where Master Control Link plugs can be purchased? I have seen the cable on ebay, but not the plugs. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

  • Beogram 8000 tacho disc

I found a "deal" on a non-working BG8000, where the display blinks a small square in the lower right corner along with the light on the end of the sensor arm every few seconds. In reviewing older posts, it seems that the capacitor kit offered by one of the members here would be the answer. Well, I found a capacitor kit on Ebay, but there is
