Peter, Yes, the adapter cable has an earth. That goes to the 'ground' connection on the amp does it? Is that to stop 'hum', or something else? Colin

Thanks Graham. I wondered if the B&W amps might be a tad more sensitive than other amps. Hi, My sister is donating her BeoGram 9500 turntable to my mother, and I'm donating my hifi amp, as my sister still requires her B&O amp.
