Have managed to get round the problem for now by plugging speaker cables (as well as from the Beovision 4 TV to the Lab 1s in socket 2 (loop socket) anyway for now this gives me sound from both my TV and BS 9000 ....not ideal and not the correct setup but just a workaround for

My lab 1s are now connected directly to the beovision 4s control box (beosystem) and I have chaned the option on my tv to 2 and audio 9000 to 0.
