Quick question for people with the new TV. What version of the BS3 firmware is installed on the TV?

I noticed recently that the industry players are looking to standardise glasses specifications for 2012 models.

Has anyone seen an update for BeoSystem 3 / BV 7 recently and do you know what the updates contained. In particular, I'm looking for improved handshake functionallity over HDMI for AppleTV2 and Sky Box. I'm currently running 10.02. Also - on a seperate note, has anyone seen a more recent Blu-Ray software update for the onboard Samsung drive

Hi all, Does anyone have any details about the forthcoming Freeview HD module for the BS3 and BV7 system in the UK. I'd heard it was due summer time. Thanks.

I think it unlikely.... I would bet we'll never see one. OLED is achieving good yields at smaller glass sizes. Unfortunately, B&O has departed the smaller screen market at the current time only offering 32" and above. B&O would do a beautiful kitchen/bedroom OLED set that would sell extremely well with a 21-24" display size if

I think pre version 8.0x of the BV7-40 software package, it was certainly the case that caution was required before installing any B&O software update. I'm hoping to schedule my dealer to visit me this week, but before I finalise it, I just wanted to check that no new bugs had been experienced out there. I currently have V8.0x installed which has been fairly robust (touch wood.) As I

Great to see B&O trying to find solutions to Next Generation Home Entertainment. Working with Intel seems strange to me. Just as the world seems to be moving to ARM or Tegra 2 architecture, in jumps B&O into yesterdays game. Same happened with the BS/BM5. Even Microsoft has now jumped ship. I'm guessing they are using the Intel SmartTV platform
Perhaps you need to also budget for an upgrade to Beo5 (or 6) which makes on screen navigation much easier.
I did have a Beo5 - 2 in fact. Sold it. Really disappointing product in my view. I'll buy the next B&O remote to offer: - Ease of user configuration on PC and Mac with a simple elegant interface. B&O

Yes - all as per Vienna. The dealer (Reading B&O) lent me a replacement 7-40. Outstanding service. My TV was away for a day or so. Its a fairly lengthy piece of work. Startup time is longer. Not too much of a pain, but long enough to notice. I don't hear so much extra noise, except for the first 3-4 seconds as the unit resets itself. I did have
