New menu comes when you get an updated Sky card. Can't find sound controls on mine either!

Had problem with sensors before as it is vertically hung so I am careful about keeping it clean. Just cleaned them again but nothing has changed. John

Could be. Just pressed button to open door - opened about half way, red light flashed three times and door shut again by itself. Not looking good. John

9000 (wall hung vertically) happily playing through an Avant in a link room. Suddenly stops playing. Go into other room and see 9000 has switched itself off with clamper still in position 2 - red light still on at position 2. Switch it back on and it lights up, says CD1 and immediately switches off again - still with clamper unmoved at position 2 red

Thought that somehow the options might have changed but as it does not respond to the Beo 4 am not sure what to try next. The Beo 4 is working fine with

I have a Beosound 9000 hung vertically. When using my new Beo 5 remote on the Select Disc option the 9000 stopped playing its current disc but did not move to the selected one. After a few minutes the 9000 switched itself off and the cd clamper dropped to the bottom!! After a few seconds it started to climb in small movements back to the top position

Thanks for the tip. The dealer is a good guy and wants to do a good job - he is probably as frustrated as I am!! I will probably work with him to sort it out for a little while longer J
