The Ouverture does not support N.Music and N.Radio and pressing the commands on your Beo4, any Ouverture will switch to Phono or A.Aux and only newer versions of Beosound 3000 and BS 3200 will support N.Music out of the box or are at least upgradeable.

Hi! If a BS9000 is connected via ML to a BV10 which have 4 speakers connected via PL - does the BV10 then need to be turned on when playing music or can I assume that the ML will handle the speakers regardless of the BV10?

In several threads there has been questions raised wether CAT7 (600MHz) or CAT7a (1000MHz) should be used for digital masterlink. Does any one have the final anwers to this question? And while on the topic; does anyone have suggestion of suppliers for CAT7 installation cable?

Hi Keith & Räuber , Thanks for both replies; as I'm having an IR kit from B&O I assume that Räuber's suggestion is the way to go. Keith what you're suggesting with the schematics; to be used together with the B&O IR kit?

I need to make a IR receiver cable for a BeoLink Passive unit; but can't find any information regarding the pin layout for the DIN7. Any one able to point in the right direction?

Well, you can make use of RJ-45 connectors instead of ML connectors; B&O already now offers such cabling; RJ-45 to ML connectors. Check this thread for additional information.
