At a guess I'd say it can't be done - according to the manual the 2300 is 'designed for close up operation'! But have you tired 'SHIFT' then 'SOUND' - this does the 'TURN' function for cassettes on my BC9500. Otherwise try 'SHIFT' followed by other (non-source) keys. Guy

Sadly the part is not available any more. See here http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/38028/315896.aspx#315896 Guy

There no problem at the moment if you put it back in the DECODER socket - as I said earlier it depends how you have set up the avant inputs in the TV menu. Well worth reading the manual - available on site if you upgrade membership! I'm off out for the evening in a moment but happy to assist further tomorrow, as I am sure other members will. Guy

If your TV's connections are not set up so that one of them is a 'SAT' input then it will not turn on when you press that button on the remote. I think this is all explained in the handbook. The 'DTV' button does exactly the same as 'SAT' - the remote sends the same message. I am not sure what output the Nintendo 64 has but

I think this is by design: When connected by ML the Overture thinks that the ML/MCL is powering speakers in another room, whereas something connected by PL will usually be in the same room. Does the ML/MCL go into stand-by after a long press on the remote's off button?

I do not have an Avant but as far as I am aware it does not have a ‘TV’ input SCART socket. Depending on the model it may have a ‘DECODER’ SCART input and an ‘AV’ SCART input. I would plug the PS3 into the ‘AV’ SCART socket and then used the TV’s ‘connections’ menu to set this socket

I think it was actually ATAPE 2 that was reassigned to NMUSIC - thankfully as some of us still use ATAPE for its original purpose!

I've had three Humax boxes and they've been great. I've just switched to Freesat but previously I had a Freeview PVR9200T which was great and worked well with bmy BV3 through the STB. Humax direct do some great 'manager special' grade A deals. I think it could still bve worth buying a Freeview HD box and then either use a switching

Slight red lines could be a problem with the 'G2 adjustment' (screen voltage for the red tube, I believe) - my BV3 had this problem about a year ago, and a small adjustment sorted it. I fixed mine myself using the service manual available on site but I wouldn't recommend taking the back off your TV unless you know what you are doing - there

Have you checked all the MCL wiring? That was the problem with the set up at this link: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/41582.aspx
