Thanks for the info. I was thinking of getting a Beosound 4, and want to listen to it in a room about 4.5m x 4.5m with 4m ceiling height. I listen to mostly classical instrumental and chamber, radio 3 and occasionally rock, chillout, and electronica. What's the opinion on the BL4s for such a setup? Thanks, Steve.

Apologies to be posting about this, but I've looked around the forum and I can't work out what the differences are between Beolab 4 and Beolab 4 PC. From what I can glean the only difference is that the PC version does not have Powerlink. Can this really equate to the difference in price? Can the PC version be used with B&O equipment via

Following Stan's reply, can anyone confirm that the BS3 sleep timer will work with AMEM? I can't get it to work- it would be great if it did. Thanks, Steve.

Hi Stan, thanks for your reply. I know that the alarm can be set to either the SD card or radio. But I've looked at the manual and tried your instructions, but I can't get it to sleep from the SD card. Have you tried it and got it to work? Steve

Thanks DJ, you can play tracks in a random order, is that what you mean by shuffle? Play tracks in random order… > Press A MEM, then STORE in quick succession. A new, randomly selected track begins playing. The setting for random playback applies until you cancel it. > Press A MEM, then DELETE in quick succession to cancel random playback
