  • Re: Beosound 2 & iTunes 8.2

Hi John. Firstly, you need to make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. Then you need to download the Mac software from the B&O website for the Mac OS you're using, and install it. Restart iTunes, plug in BS2. Hold down the GO button on BS2 for two seconds-docking station LED should change to red. A few seconds later you should see a

  • Re: BeoLab 4/PC differences

Many thanks for your detailed and thoughtful post. I think it's time to book an A/B demo using a BS4 and BL4s/BL4000s. Best wishes, Steve.

  • Re: BeoLab 4/PC differences

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of getting a Beosound 4, and want to listen to it in a room about 4.5m x 4.5m with 4m ceiling height. I listen to mostly classical instrumental and chamber, radio 3 and occasionally rock, chillout, and electronica. What's the opinion on the BL4s for such a setup? Thanks, Steve.

  • BeoLab 4/PC differences

Apologies to be posting about this, but I've looked around the forum and I can't work out what the differences are between Beolab 4 and Beolab 4 PC. From what I can glean the only difference is that the PC version does not have Powerlink. Can this really equate to the difference in price? Can the PC version be used with B&O equipment via

Hi I have a Paulino Bernabe Model 20 classical guitar in cedar with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Thanks for the reply, Simon, do you actually mean shocks as opposed to the slight tingling when the fingers are moved across the surfaces of the BS3. Steve

Following Stan's reply, can anyone confirm that the BS3 sleep timer will work with AMEM? I can't get it to work- it would be great if it did. Thanks, Steve.

Hi Stan, thanks for your reply. I know that the alarm can be set to either the SD card or radio. But I've looked at the manual and tried your instructions, but I can't get it to sleep from the SD card. Have you tried it and got it to work? Steve

Thanks DJ, you can play tracks in a random order, is that what you mean by shuffle? Play tracks in random order… > Press A MEM, then STORE in quick succession. A new, randomly selected track begins playing. The setting for random playback applies until you cancel it. > Press A MEM, then DELETE in quick succession to cancel random playback
