Hi, my BV10 was new in Dec last year, will it be capable or will I - can I get it upgraded to receinve Freeview HD? Where on the B&O site is the info or link ? TKS

Thanks Peter, but in its current configuration, the BS9000 does not appear to allow me to override the message 'TV OPERATED' and proceed to set any timer events? I had the BS9000 serviced back in August last year (new CD mech of course) but also had the s/w updated to 3.4 That may mean I can't get out of this problem now. Only other thing

Here’s one for you... The BV10 has a sleep timer and a play timer. The sleep timer is pretty common in a lot of TVs, is useless and seldom used. Anyone with an AVANT or BV3 will know that they have Play Timers. Depending on what V.OPT you set them to i.e as a Video Master or Slave, you get a different set of timer features. E.G Master (OPT 1 or

Cheers, the 'MONITOR + STAND BY' Micro test seems to give it a good 'jolt' back into normallity. Maybe B&O should have beaten Microsoft to it and just added a 'CTL+ALT+DEL' buttons so it could be used for many more trouble free years, like PCs can

Well... I think mine is not the oldest (serial begins 22xxxx can't read the rest, print has faded, probably from the heat of the power amp). Anyway, Would be good to see who has the oldest or best on here. Again, that wouldn't be mine either as although it's in almost mint condition externally, I've never had it serviced, so now it's

Hi JD, The B&O passive amps are exactly the same as those they used to fit to many 80s systems. It's 2x30watts so is perfectly usable in any home, lage or small. I can offer you a pair of Beolab 6000s that are in mint condition about 4 years old. These will cost £800 (though you can get much older ones on eaby for anywhere upwards of £500

Hello JD, I have a 2300, I'm using Beolab 6000s. The 2300, like all systems now, needs active speakers (connected via one or both of the 8 pin DIN powerlink sockets at the rear of the unit). If you have the money then Beolab 6000s or 4000s are nice. The slightly cheaper but harder to find Beolab 2500s were designed for use with the 2500 and 2300

Not surprised but not to worry. I don't suppose you know if either the BS3200 or BS4 does?

As the title says, I'm sure it's been asked many times but am I right in thinking that BS9000 (2572) does in fact have the ability to play (decode) MP3 files (e.g. 192k) from a CDR etc, loaded on the system? I could test this of course but I just picked up a nice system but don't have any CDRs with MP3s on them to test right now. Just thought

Right, OK I got the DVD Controller to work now but only vey basic functions, i.e. PLAY, PAUSE and STOP plus a functions menu via the Beo4 coloured buttons. So I need the conversion tables which Peter says are on Beoworld but I've not been able to find them? Any ideas as to where on here I can view them Many many thanks - as usual...
