Ahh just checked and the 3000 on site is the later one. I will have a look around.

Lee, The BM3000 one is exactly the same. When I sent it to Peter I had a 3000-2 one as well and the Im sure there was no difference. Of course now I cant find the 3000-2 one.

For the pentas, babywipes are the first option. If really bad get some solvo autosol but rub lightly and up and down not across or in circles and it will remove most things. Mine were stupidly tobacco stained but came up like new.

Really sorry but the manual has gone. Any progress on the Whitley. The hurricane in the garage hasn't moved in 3 years. My fathers owned it for over 40 years and it's only done 40000 miles from new.

I did have the users manual. Was very comprehensive. I thought i scanned it for the site but maybe not. I will have a look in my draws and see if I can find it. If I do, its yours. I do have the BC1500 manual which I could scan if you like.

I've just got hold of a Beolit 609FM with a bit of a problem. Its really quiet. Even at full volume its too quiet to listen to normally but loud enough to tell that it is all working. Its not the batteries or just bad reception. The other thing is that I was rather suprised to find that I can listen in to Gatwick air traffic control on it which

Unfortunately the 8000 is the least popular of this type of system. The matt grey panels are not as popular or as spectacular as the mirrored ones on the 9500 and so hold the price down. Also the lack of powerlink sockets means that it cant be used with the more modern active speakers. If you put it on ebay I would expect it to get around £150

I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a dirigent they fancy passing on to a good home. Pretty please.
