was just wondering people's opinions on these two speakers. I currently use a pair of RL45.2's on B&O floorstands which i have modified (to tilt the speakers upwards by a couple of degrees so that the tweeters aren't pointing at my knees) - i really love them and they are in great condition for their age - although they do look quite

I own this system but the value of yours would really depend on the condition of the unit. if it was totally unmarked it's probably worth (on ebay) between £350 and £400 - you might get lucky and have two people in a bidding war that drives the price up. The speakers value also depends on condition i.e no rips to fabric, RL straps still

as a cheap solution you could get an apple ipod and use one of Ridax's link cables or docking stations to connect it to your 2300 - this would allow you to control it via the Beo4 and access it from other rooms. I am planning on doing this with my Beocentre 8500 and MCL system. As far as encoding digital media goes, i would not advise using anything

I was very tempted by the apple TV also but ended up buying a PS3 instead as this was only £100 more and for that extra £100 you get a lot more for your money whilst offering the same features plus a Blueray player, Internet Browser etc If you install the free Tversity software on your PC this allows you to watch any format of movie (quicktime

you could also use a beogram 2000 - this is what i am doing with my beocenter 8500. It will be much easier to find and cheaper to buy as it is not a tangential deck. It doesn't have the "slant" lid but i don't find that this is much of a problem since i don't place it up against my beocenter anyway. also it is fully datalinked

Hi Haris - up until recently I was using a B&O>iPod lead from my desktop to my Beomaster 1900 via the audio aux 3.5mm jack on the pc and the tape input on the beomaster (the speakers were CX50's) i had no problem with sound quality and it was a cheap ebay lead i used - i'm sure that Lee's connectors will be even better. It's certainly

on my Beocenter 8500 is Killers - Sams Town at the moment, although I also had David Bowie's Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust on the beogram earlier today - always makes me smile, that album.

i think you'd be best selling on ebay - so long as you set a reasonable reserve price you should be fine with getting these sold as they are always in demand. The key is to word your advert well and to take plenty of good quality photos. offering to post the speakers would also help but of course will be expensive so you should state that in the

thanks everyone for your help. I have now spoken with Matt at Lifestyle AV and there is a Beo4 remote on its way out to me (at a very reasonable price too)

thanks for your replies everyone. unfortunately as Graham has said these combinations do not seem to work with the Beolink 1000 - looks like i will need to buy a Beo 4 then!
