• Re: Beosound 5: Red Led is blinking, system does NOT react and other issues with that unit ...

Maybe BS5/BM5 was doing a software update!? Mine allso reboots by itself sometimes (appr. once a week don't know eksactly why). I can see it in the log files on the harddrive. Last time was 22-june 6:00 So if you got home 10 minutes later you might then have missed the action The switch on BM5 is like an ordenary power button on your PC, can be

  • Re: Album Art?
What beats me is why only some of the albums had embeded coverart.
Did you rip everithing using WMP?

  • Re: Album Art?

You are wellcome allways good to learn something I think your can switch of WMP embedding or via WMP delete the coverart for whole album at one time Actually I have some CD's like hits from 60's and wanted to embed the coverart per track from the original album, but BS5 only takes the embedded coverart from track 1 in a music folder - so that

Corvin, try and scan your WMA files with Mp3tag, it will show inbedded album art and you can remove them leaving BS5 to use the folder.jpg http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

  • Re: Why did the LC2 die?

Your wellcome actually the only difference I can see between LC2 and AluDim is for some reason the AluDim sets the dim % value opposit as the LC2. On LC2 LIGHT-1-GO sets 100% the AluDim 10% - strange why not keep the setting from LC2 and the they are direct interchangeble But if you use light scenarios it's not a problem in daily use

  • Re: Why did the LC2 die?

When you have preconfigured scenarios (1-9) your just press LIGHT + # and that is the same for LC2
Thanks Simon - appreciated. BUT, this and other recommendations about Lutron dimmers, don't really address the question as to how these were, or are, a straightforward alternative to the old LC2. Also, as I live in Spain, the 'home visit' isn't really an option. I'm beginning to think that the reason

  • Re: Why did the LC2 die?

I use the LK Touch IR 350 UNI, not as good as LC1/LC2 - no scene control only dim up/down - but you can use both Beo4 and Beo5. Up to four in one zone can be remote controlled independently. Trafo regulated light sources is allso possible to control Link to reseller with more info and pricing http://shop.oneremote.dk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id
