Hello Everyone, Been a while since I last posted......hope everyone is fine and dandy? I have just replaced my old Sky+ box with a new Sky HD box so I can use the "anytime" function on the HD box. I know my Avant won't show a HD pic but the Sky anytime function is a welcome addition. Anyway my problem is the Avant keeps switching between

Hello Ehlerz, Swapped over the TV's today and the loan TV worked perfectly, so the cable and end connections are OK. I then tried the co-axle cable in the DVBS socket on the BV6 and the TV works fine? If I try and use the Link TV socket the picture has lots of noise???? Confused now, but at least the TV has a good picture now. Cheers, David.

Hello Nick, Yes I have swapped the outputs over and it's still the same. The red standby light is flashing now aswell. I will take another look tommorow and see if I can sort it out. Regards, David.

Hello Gents, I'm in the process of adding another link TV to my system. This will be the fourth link tv coming off the RF Link Amplifer. The problem I'm having is that I cannot get a clear picture. Sounds like a complete rip off to me. If you add up the cost of the hardware it dosn't come to much. How the hell they ended up at that figure is beyond me. Get your head stuck in some Home Cinema magazines and get some other quotes. Does there quote include building you an extentsion at the back of your house. Just my opinion.

DiaBandO: Hi David, I am in a simoular position. I wanted to go for the BV 7-40 MK III. Now I have the chance to buy a BV 5 MK III from August 2004. The problem is that the seller claims it is HD-ready but that I am not certain it is. (I thought MK IV is the first HD -ready BV 5, can anyone confirm?) I have seen the picture of a HD-ready BV 5 and in

Hello Lee, We only use Sky+ HD boxes in our house because we don't have a good enough aerial signal. Would the BV5 HD work well with the SKY+HD box? What model should we be looking at to get the best PQ? Cheers, David.

Or are they that bad people don't want to admit to owning one? ;-)
