At the risk of sounding patronising (and why not?) to this group I would say that B&O is generally too understated to qualify. Take the Cadillac example: it's the copious knobs buttons and chrome that attract that crowd; B&O doesnt shout at you with flashing lights superfluous knobs or controls. Does that make it almost the antedote to bling

What we are overlooking here is the unique feature of these speakers: taking a look at the rear left it appears that, although an active speaker it does not need to be connected to a power source. Or a signal source. Just think, you can place them anywhere without needing to connect them (but I imagine the extra bulk compared to a 6000 is down to the

The Reader Comments on that engadget page are rather vitriolic and anti B&O. Perhaps we should redress the balance, even if one or two of the comments are valid!

Dont' know if this has been picked up on before but the Podcast 'Apple Phone Show' edition 15 (16 August) features a 1 minute review of the bluetooth earset 2. In the one-minute (but it seems longer) review slot it commends the headset on audio quality, noise reduction and range performance. Not a bad word to say - except on the price (

HI, My (very old, first installed in 2000) system of Beocom 6000s also comprises a base (original type) and four handsets. Occasionally one of the phones will give in engaged/busy tone and it proves impossible to reset. I would try turning it off and on, off and leaving it overnight and then turning on, even removing the battery. I would still get the
