  • Re: Beogram 8000 - Tacho light sensor

Thanks for the quick reply Martin, The previous owner disintegrated the opto assembly. The receiver will transmit some sort of a signal. The IR emitter seems broken. As the complete assy is! The spare parts I have consist only of seperate receiver and emitters. I was wondering if there are any standard assys available. If so, what are the partnrs. to

  • Beogram 8000 - Tacho light sensor

Hi all, I am currently restoring a Beogram 8000. I changed the caps, resoldered joints, replaced a defictive IC. Luckily this unit has a metal tacho disc. However I am quite sure the light sensor has gone. (Call it short circuit or overload of the led or just mechanically, it simply doesn't give any sign of life) I have read in one of the threads

  • Re: AV7000 service docs / help on mains transformer

To me it's not the same. Now I 'm trying to puzzle through the scheme myself and figure the voltages. (it seems something like 12 / 24 / 15 / 30 or so... ) Now only the issue with the NTSC connections.

  • Re: AV7000 service docs / help on mains transformer

Hi Peter, Thanks for your quick reply! It's the US model. (120V). As the wires on the mains transformer are all well cut I am not sure if I have the correct output voltages when I resolder them and connect it to the mains (120V or 240V). It seems that its one transformer block, but for 120V both sides are parallel. I would like to put them in series

  • AV7000 service docs / help on mains transformer

Hi all, Currently I am putting new life into a Beomaster AV7000. The mains transformer has gone. (wires cut by the previous owner, don't ask me why...). Therefor I am not able to measure the output voltages from the transformer. Does anybody have an overview of the output voltages on the transformer. Does anyone have the service manual? Best regards

  • Re: Beosat Rx

Yep, also my Beosat RX broke just a couple of days ago and I would be interested to have a copy of the service manual. I understood it is somewhere available for download. Thanks!

  • Re: Beolink 7000 backlight

I found these light strips at Conrad. quick and easy. Everything seems to work now. Although I do have a question... My TV and light dimmers respond very well to the BL7000. (LX6000 tv). I am not sure if it should be possible or not, but it seems my Beomaster 5500 and Beocenter 8000 will not respond to the BL7000. Is that a normal issue? In other words

Thanks for the answer. I measure 137V AC across the black and brown wire.

  • Beolink 7000 backlight

Hi all, My Beolink 7000 recently stopped working (all functions, no lights or what so ever). I replaced all the obvious ELCO capacitors, including the SMD ones near the receiving unit by tantal capacitors. I also changed the batteries. Everything seems to be OK except that the blue backlight of the display will not go on. Any suggestions? Maybe whilst
