Hi I have a Beovision 3 with all 3 SCART connections in use (DVD, SKY box, V8000). The V8000 has two SCART connectors can I use the "spare" one to connect additional (non B & O) equipment? If so what do I need to do to get it to work? Thanks in advance Phil

I visited my local dealer today and was pleased to see that he had a Beo5. It looks and feels great, however he told me that it will only control B & O equipment and some set top boxes. I thought that others on the forum have said that it will control other equipment. So who's right?

I think you just need to tune Channel 6 in to the signal from the DVD player

Can anyone tell me how to identify the HD ready version of the Beosystem 2? Also which non B & O pannels will work with it? and finaly, I know it's not as good as Beosystem 3, but is it any good? Thanks Phil

I seem to remember that some one was doing a mirror / polished finish on speakers some time ago, there where some pictures of Beolab 4000s that had been "treated".

Can anyone tell me the UK price for Beosystem 3 on it's own? I've looked on the Beoworld price lists and there's no price given. Thanks Phil

I’ve just got back from visiting the B & O section in Selfridges, bit cramped, but a good selection of products. Just a shame the gentleman I spoke to didn’t know about his products! Did you know that a Beosystem 3 can not control any non B & O products (except a set top box) and that it has one IR output? Guess I wont be buying

Thanks to you all for the advise. I have tried the Ariel; no change. So the next step is to spray the transformer: where about is it? Do I need to remove it or can I spray it in situ? And is there any particular lacquer that I need to use? Phil

Keith Buzz is not when you first switch on. Sound comes from the base of the set, not the screen or the speakers. Bang 1 I'll check to see if it's linked to white on the screen, but it does sound like what your describing. Can you explain why/how sprying the transformer helps please? Thanks to both of you Regards Phil

Keith Thanks for the quick response. I'll check out the answers to your questions tonight. Regards Phil
