Since B&O has to do everything differently then the rest of the known universe.... does anyone know of any universal remotes that will also broadcast the B&O frequencies (I heard of one recently but it - surprise surprise - was obscenely expensive) as I recall the beo5 does not control non-B&O stuff unless there is a lot of extra hardware

Russ - thank you and your store in Virginia for your prompt help! I finally got my pads thanks to you - you must have shipped them the next day the BL8k/2 sound great from the MX-130. A warmth and fullness that is hard to quantify - but much better than being driven from the BS3200. Now granted the inputs were going through a cheap radio shack switch

I have tried to get as much information as possible about this - and as usual with most B&O stuff it is usual black box stuff with documentation that is close to worthless. Maybe that is why it is sitting unused in my closet. Just trying to figure out if it can be used outside of the Windows (Mac?) software

I think we are getting closer. I have no interest in the Beoplayer software. Is this minijack<->powerlink the same adapter that I use for my minijack-Aux input? Why does it need a computer? Does it need one just to set it up or does it need it to actually run? Why cant I just set it up - and then disconnect the USB cable? -michael

I have an old PC-2 (with an IR eye) Can I use it for audio in thru the mini jack (like an iPod) and then drive the Powerlink to my speakers? If so, how. It sounds easy, but I could not get it working Do I need to plug it into a computer (with a USB) to set it up? -michael
