Hello Peter, yes I downloaded the manual and all looks fine there, but I have seen other material ie schematic overviews and STB-C listings which specifically exclude the 784x model. There is no explaination why! Also the STB-C is no longer available through B&O dealers. It looks like they stopped producing them in October 2006! So old stock only

when I looked at fitting a STB-C to my MX all the guides do not list the 784x type. What stops me from fitting one to this model? Is there a software fix to allow this ie update/ downgrade?? Is it a physical thing or a software problem? I hope someone can advise. Regards, Simon

Hello All, I thought I had better start a new topic as this is being lost in the other listing. the problem I am having with the BL5000 is that it won't receive "feedback" from equipment ie "no contact". I normally use the BL7000 for programming on my BS7000 and BC9500, but I have just aquired the BL5000 in a "job-lot"

When I press the STATUS button on the BL5000 it correctly gives the source information even though I haven't used it to select the source! Does this mean it IS receiving some 2-way comms? I am slightly confused! Any suggestions why it will do this but all other 2-way comms

Andy, do you mean the plastic case and rubber keys for the BC6000 or do you mean the PCB behind the case? I recently updated my BC6000 with a new case and rubber keys for about £25.00 £16.00 including fitting! Regards, Simon

thanks for clarifying that Keith!!

Keith, I seem to remember reading somewhere that the mark2 BC6000 has a different charging voltage. Will this effect my BC using the new board? I will still be using the original charger! What other changes will using this board make in operating the BC? Many thanks, Simon

Keith, I will order the board from B&O on Monday and will await your instructions! I appriciate your time on this matter, it has been driving me bananas Regards, Simon
