  • Re: New confirmed products for 2009

BV7-55 This sounds really interesting as a replacement/upgrade for my trusty BV5 (non HD). I have been looking at the BV4-50 but it somehow never seems quite special enough. It also needs extra boxes to make it work whereas I've always prefered fully integrated products. The LED backlit screen should make it just about light enough to wallmount

  • Re: Problem with Beocenter 9500

Hi Mikkis I can't help with your Cd problem but I have used RL60.2, CX 50 and Pentalabs mkII with my BC 9500 dependant on the size of room the 9500 has been located in. The Pentas were fantastic (still using them in a link room) in my living room. The RL 60.2 were my first B&O speakers and they were good in a relatively small living room. They

  • Re: Pin code beoLab 5's

Hi Jimbo The Deactivation instructions are on page 15 of the Lab 5 instruction booklet at the end of the "Use the pin code system" section. There are 6 paragraphs of instructions and are a bit long and involved for me to Type.Could I suggest that you download the user guide from the main B & O website ?

  • Re: Best speakers to use with a Beocenter 9500

Hello Dave I hope you enjoy your BC9500. I can recommend the redline 60.2 and Mk iii Pentalabs with the 9500. I have used both (at the same time with the pentas power-linked) and still use the RL 60.2 with mine to this day. The RL60.2 do vary in terms of tone dependant on the way you place them but I think they are a perfect match. Best Wishes

  • Re: BeoSound 9000 + Burned CDs

I've not had any problems with playing Sony CD-Rs but I copy the folders direct to the disc using Roxio Digital media and record them at a slow burn rate. Best Wishes

  • Re: BeoLab 3500

Looking at my (10 year old) Beolab 3500 instructions, the speaker can only be connected to a B&O system via beolink or B&O master Control link. I don't know if the newer ones have any different (ie phono) connections. The speaker is usually sold as a link room device connected to a B&O master system somewhere else in the house. Best Wishes

  • Re: Quiet Penta

I can't say I have any repair advice but one of my 20 year old pentalabs had the same problem a few months ago (lights normal but no sound). For some reason if I left them running the sound would magically appear from the dead speaker after about 20 minutes. It would then work perfectly and continue switching on/off ok providing the gap between
