I've recently upgraded from a 28" Avant to a 7-40 - and the BV8 was never an option for me, the design just isn't special enough. If a TV's going to be around for a few years it needs to needs to look good - the BV8 looks nice, just not special. Quality of the BV7 - aswell as built in option of Blueray swayed me. It took me 5 years

Well I had to add that I plumped for a BV7-40 Mk3. Primarily because of the Beosystem 3 and picture quality. I have it on the low stand to disguise its size (it replaced a Avant 28"). I have to say I love it - the design, the quality, the picture quality on DVB SD, DVB HD & DVD is excellent. I'm just waiting to borrow a blue ray player

I'm looking at a used bv7-32 on ebay but would want to get a HD tuner in it. Does anyone have a view on whether only specific mark/types could be upgraded? Ive found a PDF on the web with prices 350 to 500 British pounds but that only mentions dvb-t and wasn't sure whether that was standard def or high def all-in. Anyone gone through the same

Still looking at 7-32 vs 7-40. The room size would suit a 7-32 - I have a Avant-28 currently. Others comments have indicated that a 7-32 image cannot be compared with a 7-40/7-55. So I think to clinch the deal I need to see the same piece of footage on a 7-32 side by side with a 7-40 to appreciate the difference myself. What sort of footage would illustrate

Just seen an bay auction and trying to work out it's age range.

I had spoken to b&o mothership in denmark who advised that the 7-32 doe snot contain the older beosystem 2 based electronics, and to illustrate the point - the 7-32 can be software upgraded where the beosystem 2 could not. I'd previously been led to believe that the 7-32 was the poor relation as it was beosystem 2 based( the 7-40 having the

No one has any more news on a BV10-32 then ?
-
My hope is that if B&O are making a BV10-32 then they have a right size panel (32") to update the BV-7-32 with a modern panel (and hopefully an updated Beosystem 3 "lite"). One can dream !!

So no positives - but can anyone confirm its NOT being updated ? Purchase advice so anything gratefully received !!
