  • Re: Beolab2

Following my reply earlier to this thread...i have apparantly made a bit of a boo boo! My dealer told me today that i can use Speaker 5 for Dolby Surround tv programs which he says that most tv is these days...i thought that i could only watch Dolby Surround on Speaker 3? My dealer said that in Dolby Surround the rear speakers will work in Mono and

I have noticed that it takes ages to download the new site and use it on my laptop...but then i must be the only person in the world not using broadband yet!

We have had our Lab 2 for over a year now and would never get rid of it. We have a BV-7 with Lab 3 front and Lab 4 rear...and both films and music simply don't sound as good when the Lab 2 is not switched on...there is a massive difference! Buy a sub before you invest in rear speakers...we use the rear speakers sometimes when listening to music

  • Re: New Phones?

I must say that although i like our Beocom 6000s...i didn't realise when i bought them that they didn't have a speaker phone facility...which is very handy when you get left on 'hold' for ages...or of course when the wife is doing the ironing!

  • Re: Hi Everyone!

Hi, don't forget to check if the BS 3200 is still under warranty...normally 2 or 4 years depending what deal was out when you bought it...but don't mention how it happened and it would probably be a free repair? Just a thought! joff

  • Re: Beovision 7 placement/wires

I must admit that it does look a bit like spegetti junction out the rear of our BV-7 32...but i am not going to any special lengths or expense doing anything about it as we will be moving house in the near future. We still love it though!

  • Re: Quality issue - with B&O...

The problem with getting a faulty peice of equipment is that the whole experience of having something brand new and wonderful is tarnished...and then if it is repaired you tend to examine it far closer and may find other faults that you would normally not notice. I would always demand a new replacement...the only problem being tha wait for a new unit

  • Re: VX7000 or V8000, pros and cons

The B & O store in Bournemouth had some brand new V8000s available last year for about £375 iirc? I bought a new one from my local store in Bristol for that price and i am very pleased with it...and it came at the time with a 4 year warranty too.

  • Re: Loudness ?

I remember everyone discussing this last year and at the time almost everyone said that they turned the 'Loudness' on...and infact B & O recommended that you left it on all the time and so we were wondering why then did they bother giving you the option of on or off? I have a BV-7 32 which i use to play our music through too...connected
