  • Wii & BV5

I have a first generation BV5 which is great but have just bought a Wii and am a little worried about 'screen burn in' from stationary images/patterns (the Wii has a screen burn-in reduction feature). Can anyone here help me with this? is it something to worry about? or is it only when being used for long periods of time e.g. several hours of

  • Re: Extending my B&O System

Oh, reading all that is said about the DVD2, I have one one order - should I cancel the order? I have now sold my DVD1 so if I don't provide a dvd player in the house the kids will go ape! Some helpful suggestions? Hughie

  • Re: Sky multi room & B&O

Hi Peter thanks for the reply, yes both the MX's don't have the STBC built in and am not sure that these can still be bought - do you know? in terms of connections into the MX's are boxes connected in the same way as the main room with the coax feeding into the sat box? and back into the tv. thanks, Hughie

  • Sky multi room & B&O

Does anyone have any experience of having sky multiroom with their B&O. I am thinking about upgrading my sky to multi room (kids are growing etc) and I want to be able to link it all through the existing setup. I currently have a BV5 as the main set with MX4002 in the bedroom and MX4000 (with beolink video) in the kids room, but we are beginning

  • Re: Beoport/Beomedia

Hi many thanks for the clarification in my school boy error - I intend to install a beomedia but did not want to go to the inconvenience of extra wires etc, I can accomodate the beomedia without to much problem but adding the beoport would have been messy! Cheers, Hughie

  • Beoport/Beomedia

Dear All just need a little clarification on beoport & beomedia, are these stand alone products or do you need beoport as well as beomedia? I just need to make up my mind about installing beomedia - as to where I need to add beoport product as well. I have read that otehr members have both but was not sure if both were needed - would perfer to just

  • Re: BL2 Fuse

periodically my BL2 blows a fuse - so have replaced it with a 5amp. I seem to remember this question being asked in the old forum and the advice was not to replace with a 13amp, but if needed up to a 5amp would be sufficient. Only my two pennies worth of experience Hughie

  • Beosound 3 - power problem

Anyone got any idea why my lovely Beosound 3 would just stop working - it seems to be the power supply/battery holding charge. it generally sits by my bed and is used as an alarm clock for the mornings. It is used occasionally round the house on battery but usually returns to the bedroom for recharging. When the mains power is unplugged - there is no

  • Re: DECEMBER PRIZE DRAW !!

OMG - I missed the draw - which I never normally do - and I won something!! - but in my defence I was distracted by the documentary on BBC2 by Richard Hammond on Evel Kenevel - absolutely compelling - especialy like Hammond I grew up in the 70's watching him on TV. anyway back to the prize draw - I am the lucky recepient of the BeoGram 3000 - which

  • Upgrading, Annoying B&O furniture (BV 5 two drawer cabinet)

Dear Chaps I have decided to upgrade my DVD1 to DVD2 - easy enough decision I thought - but as I have a BV5 with the two drawer cabinet underneath (housing DVD1 & V8000) - I thought it would be a simple job. However the dimensions of the new DVD2 are 47cm wide and to my horror the cabinet is not wide enough by about 4mm. When you open the aluminium
