• Re: Beosound Overture
I have swapped my Beosound Ouverture for a BS3200 years ago. This 3200 system is able to manage N.Radio and N.Music. So with this system you are ready for the future. And swapping will save you money.
Coolskin that avatar is so funny and cute lol. I love it !!

  • Re: Former avant owners

This is quite a big price jump, but we went for a 50" BV4 setup as we weren't happy with the look and feel of lcd. I find lcd to be a little slow sometimes especially when the camera pans across a scene. Also the picture always seems rather flat (lacking in contrast) to me when compared with our avant (same type as yours) which we still have

  • Re: Blu-Ray from B&O
sorry but I have both an AppleTV and a Blu-ray player and the picture of the blu-ray is much better. First of alle the AppleTv doesn't support real 1080p. 1080p material is downscaled to 720p and then upscaled to 1080p for output because of the graficscard that is installed The next thing is that it only supports very

  • Re: BL5 and non B&O surround processor
The BS3 does not currently support D olby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio . If you watch HD movies or or Blu-Ray DVDs, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio are the 2 home theater sound technologies that can deliver compressed lossless surround sound for these formats which provide the highest quality audio. • Re: HDD based products like BS 3200 and BS 5: Useless when HDD crashes?
@Russ: Thanks for the explanation. That means I still can use a BS3200 if the hdd is broken?! Great news. @casdave: The problem will be: In about 5 years we will have different interface standards for harddrives etc. IDE will be gone and there's just S-ATA etc. and THAT will be the problem with those components.
