Whereabouts in UK are you? You could try contacting Tim Jarman at Beocentral, he's near Farnborough and maybe able to have a look. What he doesn't know about inner workings of B&O would fill the back of a postage stamp. He worked on my VX5000 a few months ago, but I need a VX sensor to get it to work with Beovision 7-40.

Do you have same info for Beolink 5000 and Beolink 7000 ?

I ordered a copy from Tesco yesterday and they say publication date 29 Jan 2009, will just have to wait. (I did order a copy 10 days ago and had message from Tesco saying publication date 19 Jan 2009, but due to different mailing address I had to cancel that order and submit a new one) I'm sure the wait will be worthwhile

I have a VX5000 which I want to connect to Beovision 7-40, but find I'm unable to display the VX5000 menu's etc. all it will do is play or stop (and standby). I'm told a VX sensor is the answer, any idea how much these are or does anybody have one for sale?
