  • Re: Bv7-40 mk111 shuting down

I have a BS9000 linked to the 7-40 (Mark III) and I had problems with the BS9000 shutting down mid play but not the BV7! Sorry to confuse matters even more but it is starting to sound like masterlink connection and/or remote issues rather than faults with the TV or other product(s) installed. Have you experienced any recent power cuts? Also, do you

  • Re: Membership notification

Note to Van, Lee or Mods: I tried to renew my membership earlier tonight but the system won't accept my username as being valid. Presumably this is because it contains spaces. There is nowhere to type in a new username so could you please arrange to have my membership renewed and bill my card accordingly. I will renew with Gold membership again

  • Re: MacBook Air - Who is using one?

Thanks for all the comments. I'll keep you posted as to what I decide. Its not that I need a laptop. Its not that I need a desktop. Its simply that I am a sucker for nice designs and the MBA really appeals to me as a WOW! factor gadget. I don't need one. Perhaps I am just getting carried away with the moment. I saw one in PC World last week

  • Re: MacBook Air - Who is using one?

Thanks for your thoughts Peter. I suppose I could try an iMac 24 again but I rather like the design of the MBA. It would be perfect to use on my lap while sitting in the sofa in the lounge. The battery life is supposed to be quite good. Simon.

  • Re: MacBook Air - Who is using one?

I am thinking of buying a MBA to use as my main computer in the house. I will give my exisitng Toshiba laptop to a family member probably. The 13" screen is probably quite small I suppose but then that's the whole point of it being a portable computer and lets face it this laptop is aimed at the business traveller community according to Apple's

  • Re: MacBook Air - Who is using one?

Note: I mentioned about running Windows and how well the spec would handle it because it would be very useful for me to use XP if I can, but I will of course have it as a dual boot option and use the MAC OS just as much. I believe it ships with Leopard. Cheers, Simon.

  • MacBook Air - Who is using one?

Greetings fellow Mac friends! I am going to buy one of these because I think its quite cute looking and would work well around my home. I like the minimilist aspect of it. Anyone done a review on it? Peter is the only person I have noticed has bought one. Anyone else? Would like some feedback as to how you find it please. Obviously the spec is a lot

  • Re: Potential new customer Beolab 4000 vs Beolab 3

Difficult one this. I like both speakers very much. I prefer the 4000 from a design viewpoint. I have heard the 3s and they were spectacular. However, I would also say the same for the 4000s! I think in the end you're just going to have to follow your instincts. I think I might be tempted to go for the 3s if I was choosing 2 rear speakers for a

  • Re: I know how to fix the "flash" problem with BV7-40 Mark III when looking at bluray

martin01: To Beomanic Man: which sw do you have in you BV7-40 markIII? /Martin I am unsure, but I have never updated it since I bought it in November, so whatever the original software version was, is what I have. Do I only need to be concerned if I want to use BluRay or HD DVD players? Thanks. Simon.
