Thanks, Olly. I've only three servicable clips and they are on the ends. Makes the whole works mushy, especially lower right 'GO'. Looking for a replacement I think. Brian

Anyone have a creative fix for a operating panel that has the majority of it's plastic pc retaining clips broken? I guess more pressure when the key doesn't work is not always the answer! Brian

Thanks, Martin. Will do. I haven't actually opened the beomaster yet. I've been trying to do the manageable stuff. Opened up the Beogram to see why the tonearm was sticking occassionaly. Found a piece of heavy plastic tape that had slid down into the way of the track. Also saw that it's in need of a belt, and may as well do the tachodisc

Martin, the frequency display does change. The more I look at it, though, the signal meter does not change and the MPX indicator flickers all the time regardless of the frequency readout. Switching to autotune, the frequency shoots to 108 most of the time.

No luck. I think my problem is closest to Richtoy's of Sep.2009. Wound up being a faulty U264B on the CPU. A possibility? Unfortunately, I'm scope poor, so I'll probably have to wait to ferret this one out. Thanks, Brian.

My 8000 has thus far been pretty stable, here is the first real sticky point. The tuner does not produce audio except for white noise (static). The signal meter appears to be functioning.
