    I was amazed to see that the mechanics are 100% the same as my Hitachi VCR. The tuner with the IF unit next to it looks also pretty much the same. First when I saw the picture of the capstan, it looked pretty much the same like mine, but then i saw the whole mechanics, I was kind of shocked :) So my point is that if you are looking for a capstan or

    So guys, after resoldering and good cleaning the flux after that (thanks for the advice, tournedos), the set is working and now I hope it will not fail in future. Thanks again for your support. Tonislav

    Thanks for the advices, but it doesnt seem to be the problem, because the first thing i`ve done was to remove the band and clean the contacts. They was in very good condition. The curious thing is, that when I inserted back the battery this morning, it was working fine. I`ve just resoldered every solder on the PCB and for now it`s OK, but im expecting

  • Problem with Terminal 5000

    Hi guys, I have problem with my Terminal 5000, that came with my MCP 5000 from ebay. When I inserted the battery (a 9V one) in it for the first time, it worked fine, but when i checked it after trying the MCP (about 15 mins later), it was dead. I measured that the battery`s voltage was 8,5V when inserted, otherwise it is 9,5 , which means that something
