Thanks, Stefan! There is no separate PHONO button- should I program the N.RADIO for it somehow? Thanks!

Hello, everyone! I've bought the nice Beogram 5005 LP from Spiros (specal thanks for the good packaging!) Is it possible to use Beo4 remote to switch the BM5500 to PHONO? Now I have to use the old Beolink 1000 for it, while Beo4 can control every other function, when the LP is playing. Thanks! Dmitry

It turned out, this CD6500 is WITHOUT the RCA- only DIN! On my BM5500 and CD50 I've made the controls via DIN and sound- through RCA, which gives freedom to use any RCA cable to adjust sound to the speakers and room. Are all CD6500 lack RCA and I'll better look for CD5500 instead? Thanks!

Hi, everyone! Just found the white (unfortunatelly) CD6500 on sale, and curious, if it will be controlled via my Beomaster 5500? Is the CD6500 the same CD5500 with additional functions? Thanks!

Is there anyone who prefers LOUDN on?
Me with some of the vintage kit. It works for the purpose it was designed to, which is to compensate for the properties of the ear when you can't or don't want to use much volume. With most of the receivers/amps I'd like it

BUSTED!!! The LOUDNESS can be turned off with Beo4: 1) Press LIST until A.SETUP appears, and press Go; 2) Press LIST until LOUDNSS appears, and press GO to switch it on or off; 3) Press LIST until S.STORE appears, and press GO to store the chosen sound adjustments (the volume level is also saved) The sound with Loudness off is simply fantastic in comparison

Have found all instructions for all units- hang on, Beomaster- it's BeoBuster coming!
I'm not with my BM5500 now so can't verify, but it should be possible with Beo4... Use LIST until you see A.SETUP, then GO LIST to LOUDNSS, then each press of GO should toggle loudness on/off LIST to S.STORE, press GO and the current settings (including tone/volume/loudness) should be stored in memory Finally
How about Shift-Sound ? Martin
On BL1000 nothing happens this way.

Taken a Beo4 from a friend- is it possible to do something with that stubborn LOUDNESS with it? He also has a Beo5, which I also can lend for a couple of days. PS How does that backup battery looks? I'm ready to pick it out, but still a little afraid not to damage the system. Thanks!!!
