I recently aquired a pair of S80.2s which are in need of a refoam. I am planning on order replacement rings from Good HiFi . They have both rubber and foam rings available, and I am not sure of which material is superior. I realize that the rubber will last longer, but I am more concerned with any acoustic differences between the materials. Any opinions

I have a few more questions about this Beomaster. - Is there any difference between the two phono inputs besides one being RCA and the other DIN. - Am I correct to assume that the "tape out" is at line level and will have been RIAA corrected when using a phono input. - Approximately how many electrolytic capacitors does this unit contain,

Does anyone know the difference between the Beomaster 3000 Type 2403 and Type 2402? I have been unable to find any information on the Type 2403.

Thank you, your response has been very helpful. I am planning on using an external preamp, and wanted to make sure that there wasn't one built in.

So the US 3400 does not have a built in RIAA Preamp?

Are there any non-physical differences between the US and European versions of the Beogram 3400? I am mainly interested in whether or not the US version has the ability to play quadraphonic records and a built in preamp.

Would you be able to identify the model in this picture? It has an mmc 20EN cartridge, which leads me to beleive that it is a 3404, but I can't be certain that it is the original cartridge. Then again, it does say 3400 on the front panel.

Are there any obvious physical differences between the Beogram 3400 and 3404?

Thanks, your response has been very helpful.

I would like to have the option to use the turntable with a different amplifier, when listening with headphones.
