Since yesterday evening, the TV set is working properly again. Could this have been caused by a faulty remote control? It just happens that at the time of the disturbances I had two different remotes in the room. One of them was already been thought of to be not working properly.

Thanks Ralf, I have no SOUND option under V.Setup. I have however a SOUND option on the 'same level' as V.Setup (both directly under the LIST button), but that SOUND option only lets me choose between mono and stereo sound. Regards, Bart.

A B&O service centre made out that the boards of a 3500 and 4000 cannot be exchanged, that's a pity. It's a good thing that the G2/focus unit is nevertheless the same, but I don't dare to desolder the working one. If I break that one too, I have two TV sets to find a new G2/focus unit for. So that leaves me searching for a new/other

After MENU=>SETUP I get: Timer sound: OFF Power LINK: OFF AV1: V.Tape-1 AV2: CDV S-VHS: Off Regards Bart

My MX6000 has suddenly started interrupting the sound. It happens on all the inputs; AV1, AV2 and analog TV. Left and right simultaneously. When you increase the volume with the remote, the sound pops back, but after a while it drops again. Does anybody know what could be the cause? Kind regards, Bart.

Are the PCB's with the focus and G2 between a MX3500 and a MX4000 exchangable? The PCB of the MX3500 has different transistors; TFK43. The MX4000 has BF421.

Thanks Peter. My MX6000 is a MX6000-BEO4 one (is says so on the back of the set), but I do not have the option "sound" when I press "MENU". I do have the option V-setup in my BEO4, but when I choose either Treble, Bass or Loudness, I get no response from any key: it responds to neither arrow or up/down keys. I also get no response

Thanks Die_Bogener! My TV set has a white G2/focus unit, but there are also grey ones applied in MX sets that were made by Philips. So I assume these G2/focus potmeters can also be found in Philips TV sets? Maybe I can can get one from an old Philips TV. We do have a lot of Philips TV sets here in Holland ; much more than B&O. Do all these potmeters

Thanks, Are they all the same; MX3500/MX5000 and MX4000/MX6000/MX7000? Regards, Bart.

It looks like the G2/focus unit is bad. Does anybody know where to buy a new one? Regards Bart
